LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – On Tuesday, a neighbor quarrel on the Westside resulted in gunshots, leaving at least one person in arrest and three people injured.
Around 1:36 p.m., emergency communications got a complaint. depicts a dispute between neighbors along the 900 block of Doolittle Avenue.
Officers were sent and upon arrival, they heard gunfire. Three persons were eventually transferred to surrounding hospitals for non-life threatening injuries. At least one individual was apprehended.
Two local schools were placed on lockdown prior to the release of kids under the supervision of police personnel. According to investigators, there is no ongoing threat to public safety, and all persons involved have been apprehended and accounted for.
We spoke with a mom who received a notification about the lockdown but was not receiving text messages from her child or niece who attends Matt Kelly Elementary School. Of course, she was afraid.
“For sure that was my first thought, a shooting. but I thought it was a shooting in the school not next to the school, but it’s almost the same thing because they could jump and they could go into the classrooms,” Maria Flores said.
