A Local Mall Has Been Raided by Police Due to Charges of Selling Fake Goods, Including Medication
LAS VEGAS – Dozens of law enforcement personnel from several agencies raided a local mall on Tuesday, a mall business owner said.
After receiving a complaint, the U.S. Marshal’s office, Homeland Security Investigations, the Nevada Attorney General, LVMPD, and SWAT responded.
Agents loaded a U-Haul truck with products from 14 Local Mall stores owned by the same woman. Botanica Chango and Farmacia Del Pueblo, both in the mall’s El Mercado portion, allegedly supplied prescription medications illegally.
She was arrested.
A spokesman for the Attorney General’s office confirmed a search warrant for counterfeit IP.
