A Small Plane Crashes Near Boulder City

LAS VEGAS – On Friday afternoon, a plane carrying two individuals crashed between Henderson and Boulder City.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the crash involved a single-engine Flight Design General Aviation GmbH aircraft. There were two passengers.
A fence preventing access to the Townsite Solar facility was broken by the small plane crash mere feet from Interstate 11.
According to Lisa LaPlante, a representative for the Boulder City Fire Department, both persons only sustained minor wounds.
