HENDERSON, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) -A soon-to-be mother is concerned when multiple packages containing baby presents were taken from her front porch.
Sasha Estrada showed the security video of the burglary that occurred at her house in Henderson’s Green Valley community. It shows a man approaching her front door and stealing a number of boxes before fleeing.
Estrada stated that those were presents from her baby registry given by relatives and friends. She was not at home at the time, and the boxes had only been out there for approximately an hour, according to her. Several thoughts raced through her head.
“What would have happen if I was at home?” she asked. “Not that I would’ve been able to come out and stop him anyway because, who knows, he may have had a gun, all these kinds of things run through your mind about how dangerous it could have been.”
Estrada stated that a crime like this had never occurred before, especially given the community’s makeup. The neighborhood is densely populated with families.
“This guy was so brazen to do something during the day when someone could have been walking their dogs or coming home,” Estrada added. “It just poses a threat to my safety and others in the community.”
Estrada did submit a police report with the Henderson Police Department. Please call authorities if you have any information that will help.
