LAS VEGAS – A staff member employed by the Clark County School District and assigned to Mojave High School has been arrested on charges related to lewdness with a minor, according to officials’ announcement on Wednesday.
School Principal Greg Cole confirmed the arrest and emphasized that the employee in question would not be permitted on the school campus. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) led the investigation, and Mojave High School is fully cooperating with their inquiries.
Principal Cole underscored the school’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing the safety of its students, asserting that the well-being of the student body remains paramount. He also expressed the school’s dedication to keeping the community informed about significant developments within the school environment.
After 5 p.m., the LVMPD confirmed that the person they had arrested was Ruben Salinas.
