Henderson Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash
Henderson Police and Fire are currently investigating a tragic motorcycle crash that occurred early Friday morning, July 28. The incident took place near Valle Verde and Fox Ridge drives, north of Warm Springs, around 4:40 a.m. Authorities have confirmed that it was a single motorcycle fatal crash.
At this moment, the exact circumstances of the crash remain unclear, and it has not been confirmed if there was only one person on the motorcycle during the incident. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will officially identify the deceased once next of kin has been notified.
In response to the accident, both the north and southbound lanes of Valle Verde have been temporarily closed between Warm Springs and Marlboro. The closure is expected to last for approximately 1 to 3 hours as police conduct their investigation.

Serious Motorcycle Crash Occurs Near Las Vegas Strip
A serious motorcycle crash took place just west of the Las Vegas Strip on Friday morning, around 6:07 a.m. The accident occurred at the intersection of Tropicana and Procyon avenues, west of the I-15. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the crash involved a motorcyclist and a truck.
The motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The westbound traffic at Tropicana and Procyon was closed to allow for a thorough police investigation. As of now, the investigation is still ongoing.

Fatal Shooting at Apartment Complex Near Las Vegas Strip
A tragic shooting incident occurred late Thursday night at an apartment complex near the Las Vegas Strip, leaving one person dead and another critically injured. The shooting took place in the 900 block of E. Desert Inn Road, just east of University Center Drive.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to the scene after a man in his 30s approached officers at a nearby Shell Gas Station, informing them that he had been shot. The injured man was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
Police followed a trail of blood from the gas station to an apartment complex across the street, where another man was found with a gunshot wound. Sadly, this man passed away at Sunrise Hospital. A third man was located outside on the sidewalk and confirmed the shooting happened inside his apartment.
Based on the preliminary information, police believe that three men attempted a home invasion at the apartment, leading to gunfire and injuring all involved parties. The suspect responsible for the shooting is believed to still be at large.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are actively investigating the incident, and the Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the deceased man after notifying the next of kin.
Barricade Situation Resolved by Las Vegas Police
Las Vegas Police successfully resolved a barricade situation in the east valley on Friday morning. The incident unfolded around 5:45 a.m. in the area of Harmon Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
According to reports, the situation appeared to be related to domestic violence. However, LVMPD has managed to take the suspect into custody safely.
All lanes on Nellis were temporarily closed during the resolution of the situation. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the barricade is ongoing.
Help Sought to Solve Robbery with Deadly Weapon
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a robbery with a deadly weapon that occurred on May 30. The robbery took place near the 3800 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, close to Tropicana Avenue.
The victim was walking alone when several unknown suspects grabbed and assaulted him, stealing his backpack. The suspects fled the scene in a gray Chrysler Pacifica, possibly a rental vehicle.
One of the suspects is described as a possible Hispanic man wearing a Golden Knights hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black latex gloves. The other suspects were dressed entirely in black, with their faces masked.
