Early Sunday Morning, a Single-Car Crash That Killed One Person
LAS VEGAS – A deadly incident involving a single vehicle was reported to police in Henderson, Nevada, early Sunday morning.
According to accounts, police in Henderson were called to a crash scene near the development of new homes west of Via Altimira at about 7:40 a.m.
The police found preliminary evidence that a black Mercedes vehicle was speeding west on Via Altimira.
The vehicle was off the road, rolled multiple times, and finally ejected the unrestrained driver.
An autopsy confirmed the driver, a man aged 23, had died from his injuries.
Police say that speed and impairment are issues. The investigation into this matter is still in progress, so there is no new information to share at this time.
This is the seventh fatality attributable to accidents in Henderson this year.
