LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Valley can expect a much-anticipated rise in temperatures this coming week. According to the National Weather Service, Monday will see a high in the low 90s, with the temperature forecast to steadily increase through the Easter weekend. Thursday’s high is expected to be around 67, with light winds and a clear sky.
Friday’s high will be near 77, following an overnight low of 49. The temperature will continue to rise, with Saturday seeing a high of around 81 and an expected high of 86 on Easter Sunday. The following week will start with high temperatures around 90, before dropping to around 84 on Wednesday.
As the weather warms up, Lee Canyon will be ending its daily skiing and snowboarding operations on Sunday, with weekend operations continuing through the rest of April. The resort has had an impressive 265 inches of snow this year, setting a record, with a base of 84 inches as of Wednesday after receiving 3 inches of fresh snow in the previous 24 hours.
