Las Vegas, NV – A man arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) and other charges allegedly urinated on a police officer during booking, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department documents.
Initial Arrest:
- Frank Afoa, 58, was apprehended on Monday following reports of a domestic disturbance.
- Police found Afoa driving with a revoked license and failing to register his address as a convicted felon.
- Afoa’s ex-wife reported witnessing him heavily intoxicated and driving aggressively.
- Police observed signs of intoxication and Afoa refused breathalyzer and blood tests.
Threats and Unruly Behavior:
- While en route to the detention center, Afoa allegedly threatened to damage the police vehicle and assault the officer.
Urinating Incident:
- Upon arrival at the detention center, Afoa reportedly exposed himself and urinated on the officer and the floor.
Charges and Booking:
- Afoa was booked without further incident and faces charges including:
- Failing to register address as a convicted felon
- Unlawful acts related to bodily fluids
- Driving with a revoked license
- DUI
