Drai’s Management Group has announced that it will eliminate 351 positions as part of its planned relocation and downsizing. The change comes as Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub at The Cromwell will move back to its original basement space, and Drai’s Afterhours is being permanently closed.
A breakdown of the layoffs shows that 236 positions will be cut at Drai’s Nightclub, 108 at the Beachclub, and 7 at Afterhours. The company has informed state authorities the official separation date for affected employees will be November 3.
The rooftop location of Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub is slated to close on October 31. The venue plans to reopen the nightclub portion in the basement venue of Drai’s Afterhours starting November 2.
