LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Someone is diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) every 90 minutes. There is no therapy for this progressive neurodegenerative illness, which damages nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
The aim is to get diagnosed early so that therapy may begin as soon as possible. John Langeler, anchor of Good Day, spoke with Indu Navar, creator of Everything Gals and the Peter Cohen Foundation, about some citizen-driven research that may assist with that.
