Plane Crashes Near Boulder City and Lands on Us 95 Because of a Malfunction

LAS VEGAS – An emergency landing had been performed on US95 at Eldorado Valley Dr. The plane, and its two occupants were located off the major roadway and unharmed when police arrived. Because of a fuel system failure, the plane could not take off. The plane was successfully landed by the student pilot on the highway and then pushed out of the way of traffic by the pilot and instructor.
The emergency landing caused no harm or injury. The pilot is currently working with his technician to either get the plane functioning again or tow it back to the Boulder City Airport.
