LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The driver and passenger in an accident that killed two toddlers in North Las Vegas have been arrested.
Kaleah Shaelle Manning, 25, is charged with three counts of DUI resulting in serious bodily damage or death.
Manning is also charged with two counts of child neglect/endangerment resulting in death, two counts of driving without child safety straps, driving with a suspended license, no evidence of insurance, and failing to maintain a travel lane.
Raenysa Clydette-Glenn Washington, 23, was recognized as the mother of the children killed in the accident.
She is charged with two counts of child neglect/endangerment resulting in death.
Rose Wilmer, 2, and Taylor Wilmer, 3, were among the children killed in the accident.
On Sunday, a silver Honda minivan struck a tree at Craig Road and Camino Al Norte, according to an investigation. Both toddlers died because they were not wearing suitable safety restraints.
Both suspects are still being treated at a local hospital and were booked in their absence.
