Police Officers Shot a Guy After He Allegedly Pulled Out a Gun

LAS VEGAS – A man was shot by two Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officers after they said he pulled out a gun during a stop.
Around 7:30 p.m. on September 17, a shooting happened near the South Point Casino near E. Serene Avenue and Haven Street.
LVMPD said that officers tried to “person stop” someone they thought was acting suspiciously. Two police officers shot the suspect, who they said had a gun.
The suspect’s injuries were taken care of at University Medical Center. No one else was hurt.
This is the ninth shooting by police for the LVMPD in 2022. The LVMPD will find out who was involved after 48 hours.
