Las Vegas police are currently addressing reports of a shooting incident in the west valley area on Monday morning. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), multiple emergency vehicles rushed to a business located near Pavilion Center Drive and Charleston Boulevard at approximately 10:04 a.m. Eyewitnesses in the vicinity have indicated that the shooting occurred at City National Bank, situated at 10801 W Charleston Boulevard.
Authorities have characterized the situation as a “dynamic event,” prompting a swift and coordinated response from multiple LVMPD emergency units. As a precautionary measure, the public is urged to avoid the affected area. Although schools in the vicinity were briefly placed on a soft lockdown, LVMPD has since confirmed that these lockdowns have been lifted.
Metro officials have implemented road closures in the vicinity of Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Drive. This closure encompasses Charleston Boulevard in both directions from Red Rock Drive extending past the Pavilion Center.
