Protesters March on Trump Hotel as Administration Enforces Immigration Law

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday to push back against President Donald Trump’s swift action on immigration policy. The rally, which lacked a formal organizer, was driven by grassroots activists who voiced their opposition to the administration’s firm stance on border security and illegal immigration.

Protesters waved signs, chanted for change, and marched from the Strip to the Trump Hotel, where they remained for nearly three hours. Many expressed concern over the enforcement of immigration laws, particularly those targeting undocumented individuals.

“I know a lot of people who have undocumented families,” said protester Albert Lucero. “And they are worried they are going to be taken away from their children.”

President Trump wasted no time delivering on his campaign promises, signing multiple executive orders within his first days back in office. These include plans for mass deportations, strengthened border security, and an end to birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants. A federal judge has temporarily blocked the birthright citizenship order, calling it unconstitutional, but the administration remains steadfast in its commitment to enforcing immigration laws.

“All illegal entry will immediately be halted,” President Trump declared during his inauguration speech. “And we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came.”

Vice President J.D. Vance defended the administration’s stance, emphasizing that enforcing immigration law is a matter of national security and public safety.

“We’re going to enforce immigration law,” Vance stated in an interview on Face the Nation. “We’re going to protect the American people.”

Despite the protests, the administration has received significant support from Americans who demand stricter border enforcement and an end to the crisis of unchecked illegal immigration. Polls show that voters are increasingly frustrated with sanctuary city policies and the economic strain caused by illegal entry into the country.

Meanwhile, demonstrators outside the Trump Hotel insisted they would not back down.

“We’re going to end up on the wrong side of history,” said protester Shannon Large. “We are already watching it.”

“We are going to stand up,” Lucero added. “And we will fight him until we win.”

Despite heated rhetoric, the protest remained peaceful, with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police closely monitoring the event. However, as the administration ramps up enforcement, tensions surrounding immigration policy are only expected to intensify.
