A candlelight vigil was held by the Shade Tree charity to honor domestic abuse victims and survivors.
Purple Thursday brought together a large number of shade tree employees and customers on the shelter’s outside grounds.
The vigil was decorated with lights and posters bearing the names of Nevadans who died as a result of domestic abuse in the last decade.
