Smith Center to Host Sensory Inclusive Performance of Disney Frozen the Broadway Musical

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has collaborated with Disney Theatrical Productions to provide a sensory-inclusive performance of the Broadway musical Frozen.

The sensory inclusive performance will begin at 1 p.m., according to a news release. on March 18th.

The Smith Center said the sensory inclusive performances are “designed to serve any person with a physical, emotional, intellectual, or developmental disability.”

Organizers say the performance will be “modified to address the sensory sensitivities that are often found in children, adolescents, and adults who have a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism spectrum disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD/ADHD, intellectual and developmental disabilities, post-traumatic stress disorder, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.”

Tickets for the sensory inclusive Frozen performance vary from $20 to $60, according to the Smith Center. The venue stated that ASL tickets are also available for this show.

The Smith Center emphasizes that all patrons, whatever of age, must obtain a ticket to attend.

According to the announcement, Frozen, the Tony®-nominated Best Musical, will begin a 10-day run in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center on Wednesday, March 8, with performances continuing through Saturday, March 18.
