LAS VEGAS – In a recent announcement on Thursday morning, Spirit Airlines informed passengers of a “technical issue” affecting their app, leading to delays and potential disruptions to travel plans. The airline issued a statement via Twitter, acknowledging the problem and advising passengers to arrive at the airport earlier than usual due to anticipated longer lines.
A representative from Spirit Airlines confirmed that the technical issue has been resolved, addressing a network problem between third-party services that impacted the airline’s website, mobile app, and certain internal applications. In a statement provided to Channel 13, the representative expressed apologies for any inconveniences caused and assured that the airline is working towards restoring normal operations.
Despite the resolution of the technical issue, delays continue to affect Spirit flights nationwide, including those departing from Harry Reid International Airport. The airport’s official website reports several Spirit flights experiencing delays ranging from a few minutes to a couple of hours.
For real-time updates on the status of Spirit flights, passengers are advised to check the Harry Reid Int’l Airport website or visit bit.ly/Flight_Finder for the latest information.
