The city of Henderson announced that it will hold a grand opening ceremony next month for its newest park.
City officials will hold a ribbon-cutting for Citrine Sky Park in the Cadence community on Wednesday, Feb. 7, starting at 11 a.m. Activities and refreshments will follow the ceremony.
Located at 137 E. Warm Springs Road, just east of Lake Mead Parkway, Citrine Sky Park is the city’s 72nd park. It covers 3.6 acres and the grounds include play structures, swings, climbers, a trampoline, two grass volleyball courts, picnic areas, barbecues, and thousands of square feet of grass.
