Las Vegas, NV – The Metropolitan Police Department is actively searching for a man connected to an armed robbery attempt that took place at a local business last week. Authorities have released details about the incident in hopes that the public can help in identifying the suspect.
According to a police release, the targeted business is situated near the 2000 block of East Tropicana Avenue, close to Spencer Street. While the specific name of the business was not disclosed, investigators are urging community members to come forward with any relevant information.
The suspect is described as a male individual, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, aged between 25 and 30 years old, with a heavy build. During the attempted robbery, he was observed wearing a black shirt adorned with white flowers, black basketball shorts, blue shoes, and white socks.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information about the suspect’s identity to contact Metro’s Commercial Robbery Unit at 702-828-3591. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be provided to Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
