LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The man accused of killing his girlfriend’s son might find out on Tuesday whether his trial will go as planned or if the start date will be changed. Brandon Toseland is accused with 12 offenses, including murder, child abuse, and abduction.
Toseland, 36, is accused of murdering Mason Dominguez, 4, and torturing his six-year-old sister. The kid was last seen by his mother on December 11, 2021. On February 22, 2022, his body was discovered in a northeast valley house freezer.
Prosecutors claimed Dominguez sustained significant internal injuries to his abdomen, according to a coroner’s report.
Toseland is on death row.
Toseland is still being held without bond at the Clark County Detention Center, awaiting his jury trial, which is slated to begin on Monday, December 5, but might be postponed. A motion to postpone the trial was submitted, but no ruling has yet been issued.
