HENDERSON, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Following a collision with a school bus on Friday morning in Henderson, the Nevada State Police report that two young people received minor injuries.
According to authorities, the incident happened near the IR 25 and Windmill eastbound off ramp.
According to Nevada State Police, the driver of the Acura failed to reduce speed, causing the left front of the Acura to collide with the right rear of the bus. The driver of the Acura then swerved to avoid colliding with the bus, causing the Acura’s left side to collide with the bus’s right side.
According to authorities, the bus was carrying roughly 30 primary school pupils. Four adolescents reported injuries, and Nevada State Police said one boy and one girl were sent to St. Rose Sienna Hospital with minor injuries.
“We do not suspect impairment at this time,” Nevada State Police said.
