Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating two separate crashes that occurred on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The first incident involved a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Viking Road and Eastern Avenue on Monday night. Officers determined a black sedan was involved in the crash and both occupants were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. The intersection was closed for investigation and debris removal but has since reopened.
In a separate incident, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred near South Fort Apache Road and Mariner Cove Drive around 7:11 a.m. on Tuesday morning. One occupant was transported to UMC Trauma and police suspect impairment may have been a contributing factor. The investigation is ongoing, and the public is advised to avoid the area.
