LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – After discovering human remains in a barrel that afternoon, Las Vegas police detained a suspect Tuesday evening.
Ryan Bentley, 43, was apprehended just after 8:30 p.m. On a charge of murder with a deadly weapon, he was arrested at Tenaya Way and Washington Avenue.
The man went missing on November 3, over a month before his bones were discovered in a barrel near Palm Street and East Quail Avenue. Following the discovery of the bodies, Bentley was “immediately” recognized as a suspect, according to authorities.
The Clark County coroner’s office will announce the victim’s identity as well as the cause of death.
