A car struck a pedestrian in Sun Valley on Monday night, critically injuring one.
Around 7:25 p.m., the incident occurred on the 5300 block of Sun Valley Blvd.
According to the Nevada State Police (NSP), a single vehicle was heading northbound on Sun Valley Blvd. when it struck a person who was crossing outside of a crosswalk on East Gepford Parkway.
As NSP investigated the incident, northbound Sun Valley Blvd was restricted between Gepford and East Fourth Ave.
There is no indication of impairment.
