Cancer Deaths Continue to Decline, According to Study

A new report shows that people in the United States are surviving cancer at a higher rate than ever before.

According to the American Association for Cancer Research, the number of cancer survivors in the United States has climbed by more than one million in the last three years.

In the United States, there were 18 million cancer survivors as of January.

According to the association, that figure is predicted to rise to 26 million by 2040.

According to the research, there were only 3 million cancer survivors in 1971.

From 2011 to 2017, the five-year overall survival rate for all malignancies climbed from 49% in the mid-1970s to approximately 70%.

And, when adjusted for age, the total cancer death rate continues to fall.

The report attributes cancer progress to fewer individuals smoking and advances in detecting and treating cancer at an earlier stage.
