NEVADA – The Reno Police Department reported that one person was killed in a shooting at Stead on Friday afternoon.
Responding to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon with a gun on Panamint Drive in Stead at around 3:40 p.m., the victim was being transported to the hospital when they passed away.
The suspect is still on foot, but the police stated that there is no danger to the public. Nearby schools were put on code yellow lockdown but have since been released.
