Great Basin Water Company Issues Mandatory Boil Water Order For Cold Springs
NEVADA – Great Basin Water Company has issued a required Boil Water Order for all Cold Springs businesses west of Village Parkway and south of Highway 395.
The order went into effect at 4 p.m. on Friday and is scheduled to stop at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14.
Please boil all water used for human consumption till further notice (including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation).
A one-minute vigorous boil should eliminate any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.
Bottled water can be used as an alternative.
Any adjustments will be communicated to customers via Voice Reach and My Utility Connect.
Customer service teams were also notified in case of any calls.
The company said it would lift the alert if they received confirmation from their labs that the samples were negative.
