NEVADA – Over the weekend, police stopped a man in Sparks because his registration was about to expire. When they searched him, they found drugs.
The trouble started when a team of Sparks Police Department officers stopped a car because the registration was out of date. Kevin Resendiz was named as the driver.
On the floorboard of the car, the officer saw a digital scale with white residue on it. During the investigation, it was found that Resendiz had a lot of cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, and marijuana, as well as more than $4,000 in cash, two rifles, and a handgun.
Resendiz was taken into custody and put in jail for selling drugs, having a controlled substance on him, and having a license that had expired.
