Hello, families in Incline Village –
This is an important message from the Washoe County School District for Tuesday, January 10. Students will engage in online learning from home. All classes, events and activities at all Incline Village schools are cancelled due to hazardous weather and road conditions.

Teachers at Incline Village schools have provided devices, links, and materials to students for online learning.

The Lake Tahoe Unified School District is closed entirely.
The Carson City School District will also operate on a 2-hour delayed schedule on January 10. Additionally, buses will run with a 2-hour delay, thus arrival timings will be around 2-hours later than usual. There won’t be any preschool programs or breakfast offered in the classroom.
School authorities advise educators and employees to arrive securely and as early as possible, well before the shorter school day begins. They should use caution and allow for double the regular journey time, depending on the driving conditions.
At the scheduled hour, classes will finish. Officials advise students to dress warmly and wear suitable footwear and attire.
On Tuesday, all schools in Lyon County will likewise be in session two hours later.
