One Person Has Been Killed in What Appears to Be a Case of Self-Defense Shooting Near UNR
NEVADA – After what seems to be a self-defense shooting near UNR late Wednesday night, police are looking into what happened.
Lieutenant Anthony Elges of the Reno Police Department said that officers went to the 100 block of Bartlett Street just before 11 p.m. on hearing there was a shooting.
When officers got to the scene, they found a man who had been shot. Elges said that the man was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Elges said that everyone involved in the shooting stayed at the scene and is helping with the investigation. At this point, no one has been arrested because it looks like the act was done in self-defense.
