NEVADA – Dakota Vanzile, 21, a Reno resident, was arrested on various counts related to his effort to exploit a youngster via a fake Facebook profile. On October 11th, Vanzile was arrested after a regional human exploitation and trafficking unit began investigating her after she communicated online with an undercover detective.
According to the police, during a sting operation, Vanzile utilized a Facebook page under the alias “Jacob Dunn” to solicit sexually explicit content from the underage individual, offering money in return for posting it online. Shockingly, Vanzile bombarded the suspected minor with unsolicited nude images and videos, while pressuring them to reciprocate.
On the scheduled meeting day, detectives from the regional sex offender unit intercepted Vanzile instead of the intended juvenile, leading to his immediate arrest. Currently, he is being held at the Washoe County jail, facing a range of charges including luring a child under 16 with the use of a computer, solicitation of a child for prostitution, attempted child abuse for sexual exploitation, attempt to use/permit a child over 14 to be a subject of a sexual portrayal in a performance, attempted statutory sexual seduction, and attempted promotion of a sexual performance involving a minor.
