RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is gradually returning to normal after all aircraft were grounded for several hours on Wednesday morning by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Airports all throughout the country began to experience the widespread computer problems late Tuesday night.

“All flights currently in the sky are safe to land,” the FAA tweeted in an update. “Pilots check the NOTAM system before they fly. A Notice to Air Missions alerts pilots about closed runways, equipment outages, and other potential hazards along a flight route or at a location that could affect the flight.
