RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Thanks to a tip, a guy who police claim robbed a Walmart in Douglas County was apprehended on Tuesday.
Following the release of security camera footage on January 4, Curtis Brahic was apprehended after being definitely recognized as the suspect by police.
On December 30, a robbery is said to have occurred. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office discovered Brahic was a guest at a Reno hotel while conducting their investigation.
He was then detained on suspicion of armed robbery and lodged in the Douglas County Jail. $25k was set as his bail.
The DCSO also expressed gratitude to the general public for its assistance in identifying Brahic thanks to a tip from a bystander.
“With the help of the community, we were able to take a dangerous person off the streets and put him in jail where he deserves to be. Thank you.” said Sheriff Dan Coverley.
