A Dangerous Crossroads Along Las Vegas Boulevard Will Permanently Close Next Month
LAS VEGAS – On November 19, the intersection of Sloan Lane and Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed.
According to a tweet from Nellis Air Force Base on Monday, the incident occurred on September 23, and the base noted that “rapid expansion in the area has gotten increasingly dangerous.” It is of utmost importance that the people of Nellis and its surrounding areas be kept safe.
In September, two drivers were killed in a collision at the intersection, and the Nevada State Police investigated the incident.
After 4 o’clock on Friday, September 23, a semi-truck and a sedan were involved in an accident, according to the NSP.
According to NSP, the sedan was heading north on Las Vegas Boulevard when it made a left turn in front of a southbound semi.
The semi-truck reportedly crashed through an outer wall at Nellis Air Force Base after it and the other vehicle collided.
