A Las Vegas Employee Is Suspected of Taking Residents’ Personal Information and Exploiting It for Personal Expenditures.

LAS VEGAS – After an employee at an assisted living facility was suspected of stealing from patients, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is now looking for more potential victims.

Tami Friend, 41, is accused of working at an assisted living facility where she stole clients’ personal information and used it to make purchases for herself, according to a press release.

According to police, detectives were able to locate personal identifying information of additional elderly victims during the inquiry.

Three counts of obtaining/using another person’s identification-harm/unlawful purpose, exploiting an old/vulnerable person, and theft $5,000-$25,000 were filed against Friend, according to the LVMPD, and he was placed in the Clark County Detention Center.

The authorities in Las Vegas are concerned that there may be more frail or helpless victims.
