LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Mt. Charleston Lodge is undergoing a total renovation after a fire destroyed the structure last year.
The fire’s origin is uncertain, although investigators assume it was unintentional.
The lodge had to be destroyed in March, and no designs for a replacement construction have been revealed.
Mt. Charleston authorities were contacted about the new lodge’s timeframe.
They both said the following:
We’ve been working on plans to reopen the Mt. Charleston Lodge over the past year. We presented our vision, including conceptual ideas and graphics, with the Mt. Charleston community this week. “We are in the early phases of this process, and we are excited to collaborate with the community and Clark County to re-establish the Mt. Charleston Lodge,” says Christina Ellis, Ellis Island’s Vice President of Development.
