A Suspect in Pnb Rock’s Murder Was Arrested
LAS VEGAS – The Los Angeles Police Department announced Thursday that a suspect in the murder of rapper PnB Rock had been apprehended in Las Vegas.
The media relations section of the LAPD announced that Freddie Lee Trone was located at roughly 1 p.m. and arrested by the Las Vegas Criminal Apprehension Team Task Force.
Since he is wanted in Los Angeles, he will be arrested and held in jail pending extradition.
The LAPD has named Trone, whose actual name is Rakim Allen, as a person of interest in connection with the September 12 murder of PnB Rock.
PnB Rock and his girlfriend were eating at a restaurant when an assailant allegedly barged in, shot PnB Rock, and stole some of his belongings before fleeing in a waiting vehicle, according to authorities.
According to the LAPD, 32-year-old Shauntel Trone and a youngster under the age of 18 (the minor’s identity has not been revealed) have already been detained in connection with the murder.
