LAS VEGAS – A woman was reportedly detained by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police for failing to pay her restaurant bill and acting suspiciously at the airport. According to the arrest record, the suspect said to police she was arrested for being too attractive to be left alone.
Hend Bustami is being charged with improper behavior in an airport. Reports indicate that on Wednesday, police were dispatched to the Chili’s restaurant at Harry Reid International Airport in response to a complaint that a woman had fled the establishment without paying her bill.
Initially, police were unable to locate the woman who would subsequently be recognized as Bustami.
The report stated that “shortly thereafter, officers working D gates were told by TSA that [a] girl matching that description was found sleeping near the security checkpoint, obstructing their operations.”
In the end, police located Bustami in the baggage claim area, where she was “belligerent with officers, saying she was being harassed since cops [had] never seen somebody as pretty as her,” as the report put it.
A warrant for Bustami’s arrest had been issued by the Las Vegas Municipal Court, police discovered later.
As she was being taken into custody, Bustami allegedly stated, “that she was going to spit on all [the officers] and that officers were perverts and were trying to rape her since they [had] never seen somebody as nice looking,” according to the report.
The police arrested Bustami and took him to the Clark County Jail. There was no headshot for the reservation.
