After Being Stolen, Torah Is Found and Returned to Its Rightful Owners

LAS VEGAS – A Torah that had been missing since June 12 has been found and given back to its owner.

Before, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was called to a hotel in the 3300 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard because of a large theft.

Detectives said that the victim left his old Torah in a convention room that had been turned into a Synagogue.

The Torah had been left in the convention room since June 8. On June 12, it was taken by someone who was not known to the police.

Friday, the Las Vegas police gave the artifact back to the person who owned it. But no one has been caught yet, and the investigation is still going on.

A suspect is a white man between the ages of 25 and 35. He is about 5’11” to 6’2″ tall and was last seen wearing a black hat, a green shirt, and dark pants.
