At a Central Las Vegas Valley Apartment Complex, Two Persons Were Shot, One Dead
LAS VEGAS – On Thursday night, two people were shot, one dead, in the central Las Vegas valley.
According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Jason Johansson, the incident happened around 7:55 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Royal Crest Street, near East Twain Avenue and South University Center Drive.
Officers responding to the incident discovered a male in his 30s and a woman in her 20s who had been shot inside the apartment, according to him.
According to police, two males were fighting when one of them pulled out a gun and fired at the victims. The shooter fled the area and was still at large as of late Thursday.
Both patients were transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where the male died later that day. According to Johansson, the woman’s injuries were not life-threatening.
