LAS VEGAS – Amidst the ongoing cyber chaos that has impacted MGM Resorts and its online and phone systems, travellers looking to book room reservations have found a workaround – walking into the hotels and making reservations at the front desk.
The company’s website recently reappeared, albeit with a notice stating that online hotel reservations were temporarily unavailable.
For travellers with plans arriving between September 13-17, 2023, MGM Resorts waived change and cancellation fees.
New room reservations via third-party bookings were set to become available on September 15.
While the cyberattack has caused disruptions, some properties have begun to return to normalcy, allowing guests with reservations to proceed as usual.
