LAS VEGAS – The police department in Boulder City has bought a new fleet of Tesla electric vehicles.
In a Facebook post, the city said that the purchase was part of its plan to use fewer fossil fuels.
Money from the American Rescue Plan Act was used to buy cars.
The Boulder City Police Department “uses the most gas in the city,” the city wrote in a post. “This decision focused on long-term savings for our residents and efforts to help the environment.”
