Clark County Granted All Net Resort & Arena a Delay to Start Construction in September 2023
LAs VEGAS – Clark County awarded the All Net Resort & Arena project a minor delay to begin building by September 2023.
The project on a 27-acre plot of property along Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara had a fall construction start date. The Clark County Zoning Commission was informed by project representatives that multiple activities had been performed, ranging from cleaning debris and earlier work to obtaining various permissions and agreements.
There is hope that the next arena will house a Las Vegas NBA club.
According to project authorities, finance comes from credit sources such as PG Asia Investment Bank, which has granted the Dribble Dunk Project a $5 billion line of credit.
“The applicant has come in here with various financing sources every time.” And the last time it was magic money from the Middle East,” claimed sceptical Commissioner Justin Jones.
“We’ll see a project where there are financial commitments.” “And they don’t always materialize,” added Chair Jim Gibson, who expressed concern about starting a project that could be left undone.
Jackie Robinson, a board member of All Net, LLC, outlined how international funding could be used for the project.
“These are federally guaranteed infrastructure bonds.” Each of the bonds has a public project tied to it. As a result, the funds can be returned to the United States,” Robinson explained.
According to project organizers, a construction barrier will appear along Las Vegas Boulevard in early 2023. Excavation of the site will begin in the fall of 2023 or early 2024.
