LAS VEGAS – In anticipation of the approaching Hurricane Hilary, Clark County Manager Kevin Schiller has officially declared a State of Emergency for Clark County. By initiating this declaration, Clark County seeks to access additional resources from various entities, including the State of Nevada and the federal government, to provide the necessary support for the county’s residents during the storm’s aftermath.

Despite the state of emergency, Clark County anticipates minimal disruption to its operations and the work schedules of its employees on Monday, Aug. 21. County employees are encouraged to stay in touch with their respective managers and supervisors for any further updates or instructions.
