Downtown Las Vegas Will Once Again Host the Veterans Day Parade

LAS VEGAS – On Friday, downtown Las Vegas will once again host the annual Veterans Day Parade.

It will be put on by the Veterans Action Group and run along the downtown Fourth Street parade route. It will start at 10 a.m. at the corner of Fourth and Gass Avenue and end at Fourth and Stewart Avenue.

The road will be closed at 6 a.m. and reopen at 2 p.m. All streets between Las Vegas Boulevard and Stewart Avenue, including Fourth Street, will be changed.

The COVID-19 pandemic made the “largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi” stop for a year, but it came back strong in 2021.

The parade will include the current mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman, and the former mayor, Oscar Goodman, as well as several veterans service organizations, marching bands, drill teams, and youth clubs.
