LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – According to her arrest report, the lady who is accused of being intoxicated when she allegedly struck and killed two tourists before leaving the scene claimed police the pedestrians appeared out of nowhere and that’s when she “freaked out” and drove home.

The arrest record states that Mykael Terrell, 28, had bloodshot, watery eyes at the time of her arrest despite the fact that she denied smoking marijuana or consuming any alcohol. The cops were informed by Terrell that she was returning from work. Terrell had two blood tests performed, but the results have not yet been made available.

The two pedestrians who were struck by Terrell’s SUV when it was traveling too fast on Fourth Street and Fremont Street while the “Do Not Walk” light was activated were in a crosswalk.

William Baxter, 44, passed away at the scene, and Kristie Baxter, 51, passed away in the hospital. On Wednesday, December 28, 2021, the couple was visiting from New Mexico when they were hit. Three children are left behind by Kristie.

According to the report, Metro’s Fusion Watch unit informed officers that the collision had been recorded on video and was able to provide them with a description of Terrell’s car and its license plate number, which led them to Terrell’s home, which was located less than three miles from the collision site.

According to the police, Terrell’s SUV’s front clearly had damage, as did the front glass. Police reported that Terrell first resisted coming out of her apartment until they began bullhorning the building. She was taken into custody when she exited the residence.
