LAS VEGAS – Scholarships totaling more than $30,000 are available to students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or Temporary Protective Status (TPS).
Nevada State College and TheDream.US have collaborated to create the largest national scholarship program for dreamers, undocumented students, DACA, and TPS students.
The program’s funding might assist students with the purchase of books and supplies.
“Nevada State College also has a number of scholarships including admission scholarships and merit-based scholarships regardless of immigration status,” Mariana Sarmiento Hernandez, manager of undocumented programs at Nevada State College, stated.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be currently enrolled as a student to be eligible.
