Boulder City Fire Department reacted, according to Lisa LaPlante, Boulder City’s communications manager, in an email.
“The helicopter made a harsh landing for reasons unknown at this moment,” the tweet read.
According to a post on the Boulder City Facebook page, seven persons were on board the chopper, including the pilot and six passengers. All seven were injured but not seriously. Others were transferred to St. Rose Dominican Hospital – Siena Campus in Henderson, while others were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.
“As is customary with aviation occurrences, the National Transportation Safety Board has been alerted and will oversee the investigation,” according to the Facebook post.
